I made a few slight changes, I know Hawkfrost isn’t suppose to come out, but I really wanted him to have a part. Also, how Firestar (William) comes in is very different, sorry, but thanks! I also changed their personalities a little, sorry. I only changed some of it so it would fit what I had in mind. Thanks!

The Prophecy Begins…

William looked at the clan camp around him. There were warriors and apprentices doing their duties. Most were sharpening their weapons, or talking to each other, but he did spot a few of the more “scary” looking warriors go out with their weapons unsheathed.

“Hey, Adam?” William turned to his friend.

Adam, who happened to be eating an apple, swallowed and wiped his mouth before replying, “Yeah?”

“Where are those warriors going?” he pointed at the last of the warriors going out.

Adam choked, “Uh… you don’t want to see them fight.”

William paled, “Fight?”

Train!” Adam stammered, “I mean train! Yes, train.”

“Cool!”

“No, not cool!” Adam dragged him away from the entrance, “You do not want to see those people fight. They fight as if they were in actual battle! And poor Selena needs to treat their wounds every single day!”

William turned back towards the entrance, “Can’t I just go watch?”

“Hey, don’t ask me! I’m not the clan leader.” Adam sighed, “I suppose, though.”

William’s heart started beating faster as they got closer to the training arena. Huge muscular warriors stepped in and out of the ring, preparing to fight.

“That’s Hunter Hawk, the oldest apprentice in our clan.” Adam pointed at a young man with frosty blue eyes and a cold gaze, his hands gripping the hilts of his curved sabers.

“Besides him is Ivan Darkshadow and Xavier Long.” Adam’s voice became quieter and quivered when he said, “And that,” he pointed at the scariest looking warrior, “Is Blade Tigerthorn. Probably the fiercest warrior in the clan, apart from Alexander White and Griffith Lionheart, of course.” he added to himself.

“HUNTER!” Blade’s voice boomed, “Chose your opponent, son.”

“Hunter is Blade’s son?” William couldn’t see the family resemblance.

“Yep.” Adam squeaked.

Hunter stuck his blades in the sand and leapt over the fencing, “Xavier Long!” he said, “I challenge you!”

Xavier cracked his knuckles and rotated his head, “Fine, Hunter.” he leapt over the fence and took out his war scythe.

Blade folded his arms, “Warriors, fighting position!” he said aloud.

Hunter placed a hawk shaped helmet onto his head and raised his two blades in a defensive way. Xavier put on his helmet (a white and black helmet), and swung his scythe around before crouching down and pointing his scythe at Hunter.

“Begin!”

Hunter threw his saber at Xavier, and for a dreadful moment, William thought Hunter’s blade would find a new home in Xavier’s chest, but the warrior sidestepped. But it was enough time for Hunter to charge with his other saber in hand. Xavier was forced to retreat for a few seconds.

William has never seen such graceful yet deadly movements. At the last second of Xavier’s charge, he slid under Hunter and attempted to trip the younger boy, but Hunter did a flawless back flip in the air and retrieved his sword, ready for another attack.

“Wow!” William gasped.

“Tell me when it’s over!” Adam muttered.

“You’re missing such an EPIC fight, Adam!” William elbowed Adam in the ribs and continued to watch with his jaw dropped.

Xavier struck Hunter on the left temple of his head and spun around to land a kick right on his jaw. William made a face, “Ooh, that must’ve hurt!”

Hunter spat out blood and spun his sabers around, making it impossible to predict where the attack would come from. Then, one blade came down, drawing an arc in the air, and landed on Xavier’s head. The other saber went low, where Xavier’s stomach was. The older man swung his scythe around and blocked it. A loud metal CLANG echoed through the trees. Xavier drew his weapon back and kicked Hunter right in the solar plexus. William hissed.

Finally, Xavier ended the fight dramatically. He did crazy flips and somersaults in the air before he landed and swept Hunter’s legs from below. The boy lost balance and fell. Xavier then brought down his scythe and stopped at the final fraction of the second, only millimeters away from Hunter’s throat.

“Yield, boy.” Xavier growled, his voice sounded hollow in his helmet.

For a moment, Hunter clenched his jaw stubbornly, but just when William thought Xavier was going to give him another beating, he opened his mouth and spat, “I yield.”

Xavier nodded, satisfied. Hunter got up and sheathed his blades.

“Is it over?” Adam asked.

William nodded, “Too bad, it would’ve been cooler if the two most powerful fighters in the clan challenged each other.”

Adam shook his head, “No, you don’t want that.”

“Why not?”

“Because…” he trailed off and paled some more, “Oh StarClan, no!”

William turned and saw the clan leader herself, Emily Blue, come, her long sword hung from her silver and black belt. Behind her was Edward Black, Storm Hunt, and a few other warriors that William didn’t recognize.

“Blade,” Emily said calmly, “I heard weapons clashing.”

“It’s only my son and Xavier.” Blade waved at Hunter and Xavier.

“I see.” she nodded, “Well, if the two hidden apprentices up there would come down right now?”

Adam gasped, and William started backing away, but his friend caught him, “It’s no use, she’s found us.” Adam murmured before walking down the slope. William was reluctant to follow.

“There you are, William.” Emily said, “You seemed to enjoy watching these two men fight?”

William nodded, “Yes, Emily.” he said quietly.

Emily took off her silver and blue cloak, “Hold this, William.” she said.

“Uh… okay?” William took it, surprised by how heavy the cloth was.

“Alexander, Griffith, Blade, Ivan, and Xavier.” she called out, her voice full of authority, “In the ring with me now!”

Adam groaned, “Oh, not this again!”

Storm seemed rather excited, “Alright!” she pumped her fists in the air, “Clan leader versus her best warriors! LET’S GO, THUNDERCLAN!” she whooped.

“I don’t think this is a good idea…” Edward Black murmured nervously.

But Storm’s voice overpowered his, “COME ON, EMILY! LET’S KICK SOME WARRIOR BUTT!” she roared, and William took a fearful step away from the bellowing apprentice.

“I agree with Edward.” Adam said wearily, “I don’t think–”

“SHOW THESE GIRLS HOW IT’S DONE, EMILY!” Storm interrupted him loudly.

Emily smiled at the enthusiastic apprentice, “Thank you, Storm.” she nodded and flicked her sword scabbard away.

“ALRIGHT, WARRIORS, FIGHTING POSITION! AND… BEGIN!” Storm roared.
